What is Boutique Whitening?
Boutique Whitening is a professional whitening system that is only available through a dental practice. Your clinician checks that whitening is suitable for you, then takes impressions or a digital scan so slim, custom-made trays can be created to fit your teeth. You apply a small amount of whitening gel to the trays and wear them at home, so your smile brightens gradually and evenly.
Because it is prescribed and supervised by a dental professional, the gel strength and wear time are chosen for you, not taken off a shelf.

A hydrogen peroxide gel designed for short daytime wear. A good fit if you would rather not wear trays overnight.

Is professional teeth whitening safe?
Whitening carried out under the care of a dental professional is a well-established treatment. Your clinician will examine your teeth and gums first and will only recommend whitening if it is suitable for you.
How does Boutique Whitening work?
Custom trays are made to fit your teeth. You place a small amount of gel in the trays and wear them at home as directed. The gel gently lifts stains from within the tooth over a course of treatment.
Should I choose By Day or By Night?
Both use the same custom tray approach. By Day is worn for a short period during the day and By Night is worn while you sleep. Your clinician will talk through your routine and recommend the option that suits you.
Will my teeth feel sensitive?
Some people notice temporary sensitivity during whitening. It usually settles once treatment is finished. Your clinician can adjust your wear time and advise on managing sensitivity if you need it.
How white will my teeth go and how long will it last?
Results vary from person to person and depend on your starting shade, diet and habits. Your clinician will explain what you can realistically expect and how to maintain your result, including top-up gels.
Will whitening work on crowns, veneers or fillings?
No. Whitening gel only changes the colour of natural tooth structure. If you have visible restorations, your clinician will discuss this with you before you start.
Who can have whitening?
Patients must be aged 18 or over and have a dental assessment first. Whitening is not usually recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, and any decay or gum problems need to be treated beforehand.
What happens after I register my interest?
The practice team will contact you to answer your questions and arrange a consultation. Registering does not commit you to treatment, and the practice will confirm exactly what is included in the £299 offer.

- The promotional price is £299 per eligible patient (usual price £420) at Guildford Dental Centre during the stated promotional period.
- Whitening is subject to a dental consultation and clinical assessment. Treatment will only be provided where the dental professional considers it clinically suitable.
